Written by Todd Tavolazzi, The Keeper tells the true story of George Eshleman, an Army veteran who embarks on a 2,000 mile monumental hike along the Appalachian trail, carrying 363 military name tapes attached to his backpack honoring his fallen brothers and sisters and to raise awareness about veteran suicide.
Join us as we discuss the making of The Keeper, the significance of George’s journey, and the much needed conversation around veteran mental health. Angus and Kendall share their insights on translating this moving story to the screen and the impact they hope the film will have on viewers and our veterans.
The Keeper is in theaters nationwide on Memorial Day, May 27, 2024. Listen to this heartfelt conversation about healing, resilience, and the real-life inspiration behind it; and remember to share with someone who may find this podcast episode valuable.

Being Special. There's a myth about being special which is that there's a shortage of special. There isn't. There isn't a shortage of anyone being special. You are special and so am I; it's not one or the other.
In this episode, I talk about going deeper with Imposter Syndrome and how adult-children can gain clarity and awareness that a once held child-belief can be still what holds us back as adults and ways to identify this belief is and was always a lie. Freedom comes from within and through clarity. Like love, special has no boundaries or shortage; being special is abundant.

Authenticity. We are told to be authentic! To be authentic leaders! Yet society pushes back and says "conform!" To a person healing from abuse and trauma, being inauthentic can feel like a bait-and-switch. Inauthentic can feel like manipulation and it can be too.
In this episode, I cover the value of authenticity and the HUGE thing being authentic gives to us on the healing journey as well as ways it supports our mental health and well-being. Plus, I've added in some exercises and ways to grow authenticity.
